Another live bomb found in Surat, city closed for 3rd day
Surat, Jul 30 (UNI) The recovery of live bombs continued unabated with the seizure of another one here today even as the city remained on the edge for a third day.
A live bomb was located at Baroda Prestige Market soon after Chief Minister Narendra Modi visited the area. The bomb was later defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad.
Meanwhile, the city remained shut for the third consecutive day today with schools, colleges and most of the business establishments remaining closed.
Three more live bombs were recovered in the Varachha area yesterday morning, which were later promptly defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad, three days after 21 orchestrated bomb blasts killed at least 50 people in Gujarat's major city of Ahmedabad.
