Water level in major reservoirs increases
Thiruvananthapuram, July 29 (UNI) The water level in major reservoirs in Kerala has increased during the week. The water level in Idukki reservoir has gone up by 5.08 feet, a release said here.
In Kallada, the increase is 9.19 feet and in Idamalayar reservoir 10.40 feet. However, compared to the same period of last year there was considerable decrease in water level in all these reservoirs, it said.
The water level in Idukki reservoir was 2305.48 feet, Kallada reservoir 319.39 feet and Idamalayar 444.88 feet.
