University Teachers to stage protest

Tiruchirapalli, Jul 29: Members of the Association of University Teachers (AUT) is organising a protest demonstration across Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, July 29 urging the State Government to drop the proposal for converting colleges into universities.

In a statement here, AUT state unit President P Jayagandhi said the AUT members would also stage a slogan shouting demonstration in front of respective colleges.
