UBGL grenades, maps recovered in Poonch
Jammu, Jul 29 (UNI) Security forces busted a hideout and recovered UBGL grenades and maps in tehsil Mendhar of Poonch district, official sources here said today.
''Based on specific information, police and army launched a joint operation and busted a militant hideout in Narol forest area of bordering Mendhar area late last night and recovered huge quantities of arms and ammunition,'' official sources told UNI.
During searches they discovered a cave like structure, covered by bushes and recovered one radio set, 289 AK-47 rounds, three UBGL grenades, five grenades, five IED disposable detonators and three firing maps.
