Tribal commits suicide in police station
Raisen, MP, Jul 29 (UNI) A tribal, lodged in Silwani police station in this district, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself on the police station premises here.
Police said the tribal had gone to bathroom yesterdy where he hanged himself from window. His mother claimed that police killed her son.
A road blockade was staged by people at Saikheda village to protest against the incident. Agitators vandalised the vehicle of the Sub-Divisional Officer. Two people were injured during the incident.
Collector Sandeep Yadav has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
Superintendent of Police has suspended Silwani Station House Officer Mukesh Choubey, Assistant Sub-Inspector R D Patel, head constable Indra Singh Raghuvanshi and constable Santosh Raghuvanshi in this connection.
Three home guard jawans Narayan Singh, Hakim Singh and Keshav Raghuvanshi have been dismissed.
The body is being sent to the state capital for a post-mortem again.
