Reliance Globalcom inks agreement with Internap Network Services
New Delhi, Jul 29 (UNI) Reliance Globalcom, a division of Reliance Communications, today said it has signed a strategic business alliance with Internap Network Services Corporation, a global provider for end-to-end Internet business solutions.
''Reliance Globalcom's strategic alliance with Internap enables us to bring world-class content and application delivery network services to underserved and emerging market in India...,'' Reliance Globalcom CEO Punit Garg said.
He said both firms are targeting at providing a broad set of Content and Application Delivery Network Services to Indian Businesses, estimated spend on these services in Asia is projected to grow to Rs 1,163 crore by 2010.
Under the alliance, Internap would set up a new Point-of Presence in India which would be integrated with its Global Delivery Infrastructure spanning seven countries like Australia, China, Singapore, Japan, the US, the UK and the Netherlands.
The Point-of-Presence in India would be set up and managed by Reliance Globalcom, a statement said.
''A key element of Internap's growth strategy is to expand our product offerings into markets outside of the United States,'' Internap President and CEO James P DeBlasio said.
