Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.54 per Dollar
Mumbai, July 29 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US dollar at Rs 42.54 per unit, up by 24 paise against its yesterday's rate of Rs 42.30 per dollar.
The reference rate for Euro was quoted 53 paise up at Rs 66.95 per unit, against its yesterday's rate of Rs 66.42.
The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 84.8630 (84.0353) per Pound and Rs 39.58 (39.26) per 100 units respectively, a data received from RBI said.
