PMK cadres stage demonstration against power cuts
Madurai, July 29 (UNI) Over 100 volunteers of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), including few women, staged a slogan shouting demonstration here today to condemn the frequent power cuts in Tamil Nadu especially in the rural areas.
The agitators were led by party's town secretary P Kasi. They urged the Tamil Nadu government to take up new power projects on a war footing to end the unprecedented power cuts, which they claimed had been affecting all sections of people.
