Patwari arrested for accepting bribe

Shimla, Jul 29 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB) today arrested a patwari in Solan district of the state while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 from a villager.

Bahadur Singh posted at Jhira Tehsil in Solan district of the state was arrested red handed while accepting a bribe from a villager.

A case has been registered against him under sections 13 (1) (e) 13 (2) of the Anti Corruption Act 1988, official sources said here.
