Non-engineering CPSE units miss June target

New Delhi, July 29 (UNI) The non-engineering units of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) under the Department of Heavy Industry failed to meet the June target, clocking a turnover of Rs 134.43 crore against a target of Rs 134.77 crore.

The engineering and consultancy units both surpassed the targets fixed for last month, an official statement said today.

The non-engineering units achieved a turnover of more than Rs 2,251 crore against a target of Rs 2,134.91 crore, while the turnover of consultancy units was Rs 165.63 crore against a target of Rs.152.90 crore.

The CPSEs that achieved or exceeded their targets were Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., Bharat Heavy Plates&Vessels Ltd, Richardson&Cruddas Ltd (Subsidiary Bharat Yantra Nigam Ltd Hindustan Newsprint Ltd. (Subsidiary Hindustan Paper Corporation Ltd), Hindustan Photo Films Mfg Co Ltd, Engineering Projects (India) Ltd, Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC), Cement Corporation of India, Rajasthan Electronics&Istruments Ltd, and Nepa Ltd.
