Lindsay Lohan hires Sam Sparro to give pop career a boost

London, July 29 : Lindsay Lohan has hired UK chart topper Sam Sparro, to give her pop career a much needed push to the number one spot.

The 'Black And Gold' singer admits he was taken aback when he got a call to fly down to America to work with the 'Mean Girls' star.

It was Mark Ronson - brother of Lindsay's girlfriend Sam who recommended Sparro to do the job for the 22-year-old beauty.

"Working with Lindsay is an interesting proposition. I've always been a big fan and I think she's cool," The Mirror quoted Sam, as saying.

He added: "I've never met Sam Ronson but I have met her dad and her sister Charlotte when I was working with Mark at Coachella. They are a great family. I'll be heading over to LA and New York in a couple of weeks to start writing for Lindsay and a few other artists. I'm really excited."
