'July' introduces country's 1st 2.0 mobile platform
Bangalore, July 29 (UNI) City-based mobile internet major July, today unveiled India's first mobile 2.0 platform that delivers live, personalised, socially networked interactive and multimedia channels on mobile devices.
Briefing reporters, July founder and CEO Rajesh T S Reddy said the platform, already made available in the US market, had enabled mobile customers to reach their favourite brands on the mobile internet.
The product, Mi SMS, now available in India, was revolutionary and free to use service for the mobile audience get access to media branches through their cellular phones. This would offer media brands to take advantage of a vast SMS user audience in the second biggest mobile market in the world, he said.
Consumers can access the Mi SMS service by sending keywords like MiNEWS, MiCRI and MiSTO, short code for different services like news, cricket or stock market.
Using this platform news with images and video, cricket scores with auto refreshing ball-by-ball commentary, stock quotes with symbols, graphs and company news can be browsed on the cell phone, he added.
