ICICI Prudential Life Insurance partners with IIMC

Kolkata, Jul 29 (UNI) In the first of its kind tie-up in the Indian life insurance industry, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has partnered with the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC), to launch an Executive Programme in Management and Insurance (EPMI).

Announcing this here today, Mr Judhajit Das, Chief-Human Resources, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, said with the boom in the Indian insurance industry over the last few years, there was an increasing need for skilled professionals in the sector.

Mr Das said an effective solution to this situation was a strong industry-academia partnership that would help create a ready pool of productive talent.

'' Keeping this approach in mind, we have partnered with the country's premier management institute to provide the relevant academic edge to the students through a comprehensive curriculum that will empower them take on the challenges at work from the very first day. On successful completion of the course, they will be able to take on leadership positions in the organisation,'' he observed.
