HPCL Q1 net loss stands at Rs 888 cr
New Delhi, Jul 29 (UNI) State-run refinery Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) today said it has posted a net loss of Rs 888 crore during the quarter ended June 2008, against Rs 87 crore over the same period last year.
The company said its net sales has gone up to Rs 34,749 crore during the said period, as compared to Rs 21,882 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
HPCL gross under-recoveries during April-June 2008 stood at Rs 10,229 crore as compared to Rs 2,705 in the corresponding previous quarter.
