Hero Honda Q1 net up 43.73% at Rs 272.87 cr
New Delhi, Jul 29 (UNI) Hero Honda, the country's biggest motorcycle maker, today said it has posted a 43.73 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 272.87 crore for the quarter ended June 2008, as compared to Rs 189.84 crore over the same period a year ago.
The company said in a statement that its total income has increased from Rs 2,486.90 crore for the quarter ended June 2007 to Rs 2,890.25 crore for the quarter ended June 2008, registering a 16.21 jump.
