Gujaratis in US condemn Ahmedabad blasts

Rajkot, Jul 29 (UNI) Senior community leaders of Gujarat in the United States have condemned the serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad last Saturday in which 49 people lost their lives.

In a joint statement here, they appealed to people of Gujarat to keep peace and tranquility in the larger interests of development of the state and hailed the spirit of Gujaratis.

The statement was issued by Mr Suresh Jani, coordinator of overseas Friends of BJP in USA, Mr Hirubhai Patel, president of Gujarat Foundation and Mr Naresh Bhadiyadara, President of Gujarati Samaj of North America.

They said Gujaratis have shown exemplary courage to fight against any such act and helped the needy in time of crisis.

All these leaders and rest of the Gujaratis and Indians, staying in US, have expressed their grief and sorrow to the families of the dead and injured.
