GJM supporters capture GNLF supremos native house
Darjeeling, Jul 29 (UNI) The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha's (GJM) Youth and Women wing had taken over the ancestral house of GNLF supremo Subhas Ghisingh and declared it as their joint office.
Sources here today said that a group of GJM Youth and Women cell members had captured Mr Ghisingh's house at Manju Tea Garden near Mirik block in Darjeeling and were using it as their party office.
Asked about the development, SP (Darjeeling) Rahul Srivastava confirmed it, saying, '' no FIR have been lodged in this connection so far. '' The GNLF chief along with his family members, is now staying in Teesta Prakalp Bhawan, a state government guest house, at the Teen Batti area on the outskirt of Siliguri after being hounded out of Darjeeling by the GJM on July 27.
