Rural Postal Life Insurance achieves record collection
Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 28 (UNI) Rural Postal Life Insurance has achieved a record collection of Rs 371 crore in Kerala during the last fiscal, Chief Post Master General Uday Balakrishnan said today.
Talking to newspersons here, he said most of the amount was mobilised by 'grameen dak sevaks'.
He said during the 11th Five-Year Plan, the Postal Department would be computerising 64,000 Branch offices manned by the Grameen Dak Sevaks.
