Red Alert sounds in Chhattisgarh town
Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, July 28 (UNI) A red alert has been sounded in this district after serial blast rocked Ahmedabad and Bangaluru, police said today.
Intensive checks were being carried out by Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police at the railway station here. The bus stand and main market were also under priority surveillance.
Check drives were in progress in crowded quarters of the district.
An abandoned suitcase, found in the 363 passenger train that arrived from Raipur yesterday, triggered panic. The train was stopped at Hathbandh Station where a railway security squad and a dog squad investigated the suitcase but found some clothes.
