One drowned, 7 injured in Kashmir accident
Srinagar Jul 28 (UNI) A Bihari drowned and seven others were injured in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
Nawraz Alam (25), son of Abdul Hassan, resident of Bihar was drowned in the river Jhelum at Kadalbal Charsoo in Awantipora.
His body was later fished out at a distance.
The sources said a vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian at Sumbal on the Srinagar-Sonmarg road. He was hospitalised.
Six passengers were injured when an Army vehicle hit the vehicle in which they were travelling near Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla.
The injured were admitted to different hospitals.
