Lightning kills three at Shahdol

Shahdol, Jul 28: Three people and 34 goats were killed when lightning struck them in separate incidents in this district, police said on Monday, July 28.

Jeetendra Singh Gaud (25), Rampati Panika (26), both residents of Bhanni village in Beohari area, and Kharragaon-resident Bisahu Gaud were killed in the lightning. Ram Sajeewan Pao, a resident of Maohar village in Jaisingh Nagar area, had gone out to graze his goats when lightning struck the cattle amid heavy rains.
