Kotak Mahindra Bank Q1 PAT up 14.39 pc
New Delhi, Jul 28: Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd on Monday, July 28 said its net profit for the first quarter ended June 2008 has increased 14.39 per cent to Rs 54.53 crore as compared to Rs 47.67 crore during the corresponding period a year ago.
The Bank's Q1 FY09 total Income has also surged 33.8 per cent to Rs 795.59 crore from Rs 594.45 crore in Q1 FY08. The Group's profit after tax stood at Rs 149.84 crore for the quarter ended June 2008 whereas it was Rs 145.94 crore for the quarter ended June 2007, registering a growth of 2.67 per cent.
Its total income for the said period has gone up 6.81 per cent to Rs 1,487.25 crore from Rs 1,392.38 crore during the same period last fiscal.
