Fishermen from Kurusukuppam ventured variety of fish

Puducherry,Jul 28: Fishermen from Kurusukuppam who ventured into the sea early this morning had a catch of rare variety of fish which had not been seen here before.

The fish looked fierce and had long teeth. However, there were no bidders. As they could not sell the catch, the fishermen sought the assistance of the Revenue Department following which Thazildar Yaswanathaiah and other revenue officials inspected it. Mr Yaswanathiah told newpsersons the fish was seen only off the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and might have migrated following the frequent undersea quakes in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
