Dacoits loot bank cash at pistol point

Hisar, Jul 28 (UNI) In a daring broad daylight dacoity here, five youths looted State Bank of Patiala branch at Saniana village, near Bhuna town and decamped with cash worth Rs 4.5 lakh.

While two dacoits took position outside the bank, three entered the bank and snatched the gun of the guard.

They, then beat the cashier, shut the manager along with a client in a room and looted the cash on pistol point.

The dacoits, in the age group of 20-22 years escaped in the car, that they had parked near the bank.

While four of them spoke Haryanvi, one spoke in Punjabi, police said adding that a number of police teams have been deployed to nab them.
