Chennai, Jul 28 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) today condemned AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa for demanding revival of POTA to deal with terror acts in the country.
In a statement here, CPI(M) state secretary N Varadarajan said Ms Jayalalithaa, who is acting as the mouthpiece of BJP, demanding revival of POTA citing the serial blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad, deserved to be condemned.
He said the party was also against the DMK government in Tamil Nadu invoking the National Security Act (NSA) against PMK leader J Guru.
