Congress govt in UT is paralysed: A Anbazhagan
Puducherry, Jul 28 (UNI) AIADMK State Secretary and MLA A Anbazhagan today, Alleged that the Congress Government in the Union Territory was totally ''Paralysed'' and demanded it's immediate dismissal.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Anbazhagan claimed that the government was unsuccessful on all fronts and the Chief Minister failed to convene the Cabinet when red alert was given all over the country following the serial bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahamedbad.
He did not convene a meeting of the higher police officials to review the security position.
He alleged that whenever Union Minister of State for Planing and Parliamentary Affairs V Narayanasamy visited Puducherry, he created confusion by stating that the law and order situation in Puducherry had deteroriated. If that was so, he should have informed the Union Home Minister, Anbazhagan said.
He claimed that the people here need statehood and not B2 status which would benefit only the government employees.
On the seat reservation in private medical colleges, he said even though the colleges had violated the agreement to provide 50 per cent seat to the government, the latter failed to initiate any action.
