BPCL Q1 net loss stands at Rs 1,066.70 cr
New Delhi, Jul 28 (UNI) State-run oil marketing company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) today said it has posted a net loss after tax of Rs 1,066.70 crore for the quarter ended June 2008, as compared to net profit of Rs 192.70 crore during the corresponding period a year ago.
Total income has increased from Rs 24,319.50 crore for the quarter ended June 2007 to Rs 39,297.70 crore for the quarter ended June 2008.
The Group has posted, on consolidated basis, a net loss of Rs 1,028.60 crore for the quarter ended June 2008 as compared to net profit of Rs 238.50 crore for the quarter ended June 2007.
Its consolidated total income has increased from Rs 24,544.90 crore for the quarter ended June 2007 to Rs 39,568.60 crore for the quarter ended June 2008.
