18-year-old boy killed in accident

Karnal, July 28 (UNI) An 18-year-old boy was killed when his motorcycle skidded off the road in a bid to save a child on bicycle near sector 7-8 crossing today.

According to police, in the accident, Puneet, a class 12th student of Pratap Public School, received serious head injuries. He was rushed to a private hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. His sister was also sitting on the pillion, however, she escaped unhurt.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a 75-year-old woman, Rameshwari Singh of Hakikat Nagar, was today run over by a train near Kori Moholla.
