Utkal Exp on diverted route
Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, July 27 (UNI) The Puri-Haridwar 8478/8477 Kalinga Utkal Express would ply along a diverted route until July 31, Railway sources said.
Heavy rain last month in West Bengal and Orissa severely affected a few sections of the South Eastern Railway and train movement is yet to be normalised. The Utkal Exp, which goes via Khadagpur had to be cancelled on some days as the Kharagpur-Bhadrak line was damaged.
The train is being diverted along the Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Ongole route. Similarly, 2863/2864 Howrah-Yeshwantpur Falaknuma Exp and 2703/2704 Howrah-Secunderabad Exp will be diverted along Jharsuguda-Bilaspur-Durg-Nagpur-Ballarshah route until July 31.
