Six injured while protesting trader's killing
Daltonagnj, Jul 27 (UNI) Protesting against the killing of a local trader about a month ago after allegedly being beaten by RPF jawans, various social organisations demonstrated at the Daltonganj railway station today.
Official sources said that police had to resort to mild lathicharge to control the agitators who tried to disrupt rail traffic.
About six people were injured in the incident.
They had been admitted to a nearby hospital, sources added.
On June 18 local trader, Sanjay Agarwal, travelling from Palamu express was allegedly beaten up by RPF jawans. He later succumbed to his injuries.
