Prime Minister likely to visit Ahmedabad on Monday

New Delhi, July 27 : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to visit Ahmedabad on Monday, in the wake of the serial blasts that have rocked the city, to have an on-the-spot-assessment of the situation.

Singh is likely to visit the hospitals and meet the injured in the blasts, official sources said on Sunday.

The details of the Prime Minister's visit were being finalised.

At least 45 people were killed and over 100 others injured in serial blasts in Ahmedabad on Saturday evening when 16 coordinated serial blasts ripped through the metropolis a day after multiple explosions rocked Bangalore.
