Kolhapur-Konkan region traffic affected due to rains
Kolhapur, July 27 (UNI) Vehicular traffic in the Kolhapur-Konkan region, via Gaganbavada route, was today affected due to heavy rains since last night and a landslide on the Bhuibavada ghat section.
However, traffic via Gaganbavda-Karul Ghat section is functioning normally, district collector's office sources said here today.
Water levels of rivers, including Panchaganga as well as irrigation dams have increased, the sources said.
Highest rainfall recorded was of 85 mm in Radhanagari tehsil, during the last 24 hours, while lowest was recorded at eight mm in Shirol Tehsil, the sources added.
