IA flight develops technical snag at Kozhikode

Chennai, July 27 (UNI) A Muscat-bound Indian Airlines (IA) flight IC:925 returned to Chennai airport after it developed a technical snag at Kozhikode today.

Official sources said the flight with 110 passengers and six crew members, landed safely when the pilot, realising the exigency of the situation at 1800 hrs, alerted the control rooms here and at Kozhikode airport, before landing the flight safely at Chennai International Airport at 1940 hrs.

The airline has arranged an alternative flight for the passengers' departure, the sources added.
