Computerised PF System in ECoR
Bhubaneswar,Jul 27 (UNI) The East Coast Railway today introduced Computerized Provident Fund Pass Book to make PF accounts transparent.
The process is a part of the steps initiated towards largescale computerization taken up for the benefit of its 42,000 employees.
The Computerized Pass Book is like a Bank Pass Book which will give online the details of the amounts deposited/withdrawn from the Provident Fund Account of the employee as well as calculation of interest.
Inaugurating the system, Railway Board Chairman K C Jena lauded the innovative step taken by the ECoR and advised the entire Railways to introduce the system in their areas.
EcoR sources said in the coming days multiple information processed through the Centralized System would be made available to employees through IVRS, kiosks and Handheld Mobile Devices.
