Chandrabhan sidelined in BJP: Pande
Damoh, MP, July 27 (UNI) BJP Damoh MP Chandrabhan Singh, who abstained himself from the July 22 trust vote, felt neglected by state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and BJP leaders in the country, district BJP unit president Vidyasagar Pande said here today.
''Mr Singh was annoyed with the BJP and had almost decided to leave the party,'' Mr Pande told UNI.
He said that Mr Singh had also conveyed this to state and national BJP leaders on April 5, 2008, but nothing was done.
If attention would have been paid to his letter earlier, this situation could have been averted, Mr Pande added.
Refuting Mr Singh's episode as the defeat of BJP, Mr Pande dubbed the act of Damoh MP as shameful and justified his expulsion.
