Bomb explosion threat in Kanpur, security raised
Lucknow, Jul 27 (UNI) Security has been tightened in the Industrial city of Kanpur after an anonymous caller warned of a blast today.
A doctor has claimed to received the threatening call, Kanpur's Senior Superintendent of Police (SP) A K Singh said.
The call was traced to Orai in Jalaun district of the state, the senior cop informed.
Meanwhile, the administration has swing into action and beefed-up security at public places like malls and stations. Besides, an intense checking drive has been started.
The medico also claimed that he received similar warning calls twice earlier.
