After rain its back to sultry weather

Patna, Jul 27 (UNI) With a let-up in rains, people in Patna and its adjoining areas experienced hot and sultry weather today.

The day became hotter as a bright sun beat down on the people.

The high level of humidity added to the inconvenience.

The day's maximum temperature was recorded at 30.7 degrees Celcius and the minimum at 27.8 degrees Celcius.

The weatherman recorded a mere 3.8 mm downpour since the past 24 hours.

The local Met office predicted generally cloudy sky with the possibility of one or two spells of moderate showers for the next 24 hours.
