9 employees absent from poll-linked duty
Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Jul 27 (UNI) Suspension has been recommended for nine employees who were deployed to review photo electoral rolls and were found absent from duty, official sources said.
In view of the state assembly elections, a target was set to finish the review work of voters list here by July 30.
In order to accomplish this, employees were deployed in almost every ward in the city but during regular inspection these nine employees were found to be absent.
Sub-Divisional Officer Sanjay Agrawal has sent a suspension letter against Shyamrao Selar, Akhilesh Shukla, Ashok Shukla, Raju Samunde, Madhav Sahu, Rajesh Humne, Vijay Gedam and Sanjay Kumar Vishwakarma to District Returning Officer.
