201 bags of ration rice seized in TN

Pudukkottai, Jul 27: Civil supplies department has seized 201 bags of ration rice from a lorry at Rajalipatti village, near here, yesterday.

Police said the rice worth Rs 1.5 lakh was seized during a routine vehicle check up. However, the lorry driver had managed to escape from the spot.
