Woman injured in North Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 26 (UNI) A woman was shot at and critically wounded by militants in north Kashmir last night, police said today.

A group of militants, including a self-styled District Commander of Hizbul Mujahideen Talib Lali, entered a house at Bazipora Ajas last night and fired on the woman, Khatoon Begum.

The militants later managed to escape, police said, adding the injured was admitted to a hospital.
