Rains continue for third consecutive day in Aurungabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, July 26 (UNI) Rains continued to lash the city for the third consecutive day today, bringing the much needed respite for people.

It may be noted that in the absence of rains, drought-like situation prevailed the Marathwada region. People, especially farmers, were worried over the rain gods playing truant.

Lack of adequate rainfall in the wettest month of the year has led to water shortage and delay in sowing operations. However, it started raining on Thursday and continued till this evening.
