Notice to watershed committe chairman for forgery

Nahan, Jul 26 (UNI) The Project Officer District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Sirmour Ravinder Sharma said here today that a notice had been served to the Chairman Watershed Committee Tulsi Ram to explain within 15 days why action should not be taken against him for preparing forged master roll in which thousands rupees had been misused.

He said that in case reply was found unsatisfactory, the Chairman could be dismissed and money be recovered from him.

Mr Sharma said that some residents of Sangna Area including Kanthi Ram, Sunder Singh, Hira Singh, Ramnik Singh in a letter to Deputy Commissioner Sirmour demanded a probe alleging that Tulsi Ram had withdrawn thousands under forged names claiming that they were working on Watershed in Sangna area under Renuka tehsil.
