MP Minister meets blast victims from his state
Srinagar, Jul 26 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Minister L K Sharma visited a local hospital here to enquire about the welfare of the people from his state, who were injured in the grenade blast at a general bus stand, Batmaloo, on July 24.
Mr Sharma, who arrived here yesterday, went straight to the SMHS Hospital to meet the wounded people from his state.
He expressed satisfaction over the attention and medical treatment being given to the victims.
The wounded informed the Minister about the incident and appreciated the efforts put in by the administration and local people in quickly shifting them from the scene of occurrence to the hospital.
They said that the local administration also provided them financial assistance and were all praise for the kind of attention being given to them.
The Minister also interacted with Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda and had a meeting with the civil administration and expressed satisfaction over adequate medicare being provided to the people.
Five members of a Muslim family, including a woman and her four children from Bihar, were killed and over 25 wounded in the Thursday blast.
