Lovelorn couple commit suicide in Jabalpur

Jabalpur, Jul 26: A lovelorn couple has committed suicide by jumping into famous Bhedaghat waterfall in Jabalpur, police said Saturday, July 25.

Lakshmi Chakraborty (20) and Sachin Prajapati (24) had gone to Bhedaghat waterfall on Friday, July 25. Both were sitting on a rock at New Bhedaghat and chatting when Lakshmi's brother Mukesh arrived in her search. On seeing Mukesh, both held each other's hand and jumped into the river. Divers were pressed into service but their bodies could not be fished out. A suicide note was found in Lakshmi's purse stating that both were committing suicide with their own will and no one should be disturbed over this matter.
