Jet says no safety was compromised
New Delhi, Jul 26 (UNI) Jet Airways today said safety was not compromised and the door was locked and armed properly of the plane in which Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar was travelling to Mumbai yesterday.
Reacting to media reports, an airways spokesman said the plane returned back after take off from Delhi.
''The reason for this was because the cabin crew reported to the pilot a discrepancy with the aircraft service though the door was locked and armed. There were, however, no warnings or indications of any discrepancy in the cockpit''.
''Our investigations indicate that safety was not compromised and all indicators inside the plane were normal'', the spokesman added.
