HSIIDC to spend Rs 12000 cr on infrastructural projects
Chandigarh, July 26 (UNI) Haryana State Industrial and infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) is earmarking land of about 17000 acre for setting up new industrial estates and infrastructure projects.
A spokesman of the Corporation said that investment outlay on providing infrastructure for these projects would come to Rs 12,000 crore.
He said that the projects included KMP Expressway, Industrial Model Townships at Rohtak, Faridabad and Jagadhari and expansion of IMT Manesar, Bawal, Barhi, Rai, Karnal and Saha industrial estates.
He said that HSIIDC was undertaking the development of Kundli- Manesar-Palwal Expressway Project, which was a four and six lane access controlled Expressway with a total length of 135.65 km.
He said the Corporation would construct the flatted factories on a plot area of about 4273 square meters in Sector-59, Faridabad, industrial labour housing at IMT, Manesar and develop Bawal Phase II.
He said that HSIIDC had developed an industrial estate at Narwana in district Jind on an area of 108 acres at a cost of Rs 15 crore.
HSIIDC also planned to construct canal- based water works in order to ensure potable water supply to the entrepreneurs of the area as the underground water at Narwana was not potable, he added.
