Gurung asks Ghisingh to leave Darjeeling
Darjeeling, Jul 26 (UNI) Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) supremo Bimal Gurung today threatened his former mentor Subash Ghisingh to leave Darjeeling within a fortnight or face the consequences.
In another ultimatum, Mr Gurung urged police to arrest all Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) activists by tomorrow evening, adding that failure to comply with the ultimatum would ''invite wrath from the people.'' The latest ''diktat'' and ultimatum came within 24 hours of gunshots being allegedly fired from GNLF leader Deepak Gurung's residence, which killed GJM's woman wing leader Pramila Sharma (38) yesterday.
Meanwhile, Mr Ghisingh was shifted to Siliguri from his Darjeeling home under huge police escort, IGP, North Bengal, Kundal Lal Tamta told UNI over phone.
