Connie Francis's high BP lands her in hospital
Washington, July 26 : The 'Where the Boys Are' singer Connie Francis was recently hospitalised with precariously high blood pressure, forcing her to call off her performance in New York.
Connie, was scheduled to perform with singer Neil Sedaka at the Capital One Bank Theatre in Westbury, but had to call it off.
She was admitted to Long Island Jewish Medical Centre's coronary care unit, where she is said to be recuperating.
"She's doing well," E!Online quoted Connie's agent Mike Church, as saying.
Connie Francis has had a pretty successful career with 40 hits, four no. 1 singles to her credit/
She stopped recording in 1969 but has continued with Live Performances including her 2004 gig in Las Vegas.
