VHP sees 'Jihadi' hand in B'lore blasts
Hyderabad, Jul 25 (UNI) Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International Secretary General Praveen Togadia today said the 'Jihadi' elements were behind the serial blasts that rocked Bangalore today.
He told newspersons here that 'Jihadi' elements were systematically targeting the economies world over, including India.
Blaming the Centre for its ''soft attitude'' towards terrorism, Dr Togadia said that the 'Jihadi' elements enjoyed local support too.
''Serious efforts should be made by both the Centre and the State Governments to detect and crack the network of Jihadi supporters,'' he added.
The appeasement policies of the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre were the main reason for the present situation, he alleged.
Meanwhile, a report from Vijayawada said VHP National Secretary Y Raghavulu, strongly condemning the blasts, said the 'Jihadi' militants were involved in the blasts and were adopting dirty tactics to kill innocent people.
Talking to UNI, he alleged that the Centre's ''soft attitude'' was encouraging the militants. The Centre had been delaying the execution of Afzal Guru, awarded death penalty by the Supreme Court in Parliament attack case, he added.
