Subsidy under unaided education policy to be completed by December
Patna, Jul 25 (UNI) The Bihar government today said the subsidy grants under unaided education policy would be completed by November-December.
Replying to a short notice question of CPI member Kedar Pandey in the state legislative council, Bihar Hhuman Resources Development Minister Harinarayan Singh said the government had withdrawn the Unaided Education Policy in April this year. The process of providing subsidy would be completed by November- December.
Intervening into the reply of Mr Singh, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the government had taken a policy decision to stop unaided education policy and the colleges running under the scheme were being given subsidies after full assessment of their performances.
